A lot of people I know are plagued by the "what should I do next?" bug. I got pretty lucky. I decided about a year ago that I want to return to Germany to do a masters in "Variation und Wandel in der deutschen Sprache," which I simplify by saying "German linguistics" whenever anyone asks. The masters starts in the summer semester, which complicates things a bit.
Summer Semester 2009 begins Monday, April 20th.
That gives me a lot of time. Almost a year, in fact. So, my kind-of gap year has commenced, and I hope it will be a wild ride.
